CCR&R

The Tennessee Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) works to ensure Tennessee families, educators, and care providers are “equipped with everything needed to provide the children under their care the best possible start in life.”
CCR&R serves Tennessee through sites across the state that provide administrative, technical, business, and developmental coaching and training for child care operators and professionals while also supporting families with resources that ensure children prosper. Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) funds CCR&R as an investment in our state’s future.

Tennessee Department of Human serivces (DHS)

Child Care Services is housed within the Division of Child Care and Community Services. Child Care Services plans, implements, and coordinates activities and programs to ensure quality, and the health and safety of children in licensed care.  Child Care Services includes Child and Adult Care Licensing, Pre-Licensure, Child Care Payment Assistance (Smart Steps and the Child Care Certificate Program), and a list of other partner programs.
