The Bible teaches that baptism is a symbol of our faith and expresses outwardly the inward change brought by salvation through Jesus Christ. Baptism is done by immersion after a person has placed their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. This is done in obedience to our Lord’s command in Matthew 28:19.
